Biography: Sam Houser is best as known co-founder and president of Rockstar Games, which creates the Grand Theft Auto series.

Houser was born in London in 1971 to actress Geraldine Moffat and solicitor Walter Houser. He attended St Paul's School and the University of London. His early interests included crime films and video games like "Elite and Mr. Do!

In 1990, Houser began working at Bertelsmann Music Group in the post room. He moved to BMG's interactive entertainment division in 1994 and became Head of Development by 1996.

Houser co-founded Rockstar Games with his brother Dan Houser. As executive producer, he played a key role in developing the Grand Theft Auto series with a particular focus on creating games which were appealing and unified in terms of their visuals, sound, and storyline.

Under Houser's leadership, Rockstar Games has produced several successful titles. These included "Max Payne 3" (2012) and "Grand Theft Auto V" (2013). The latter went on to become one of the best-selling video games of all time.

In 2014, Houser was inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences' Hall of Fame. Time magazine also listed him among the 100 most influential people of 2009, and in 2015, actor Daniel Radcliffe portrayed Houser in the television film "The Gamechangers."
