Biography: Adam Young is an American musician who founded Owl City, a project that he started while suffering from insomnia. His musical presence started out online, particularly with posting songs to MySpace and culminated in the hit single "Fireflies" in 2009.
Owl City have released several albums starting with Ocean Eyes in 2009, which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200. They have since released All Things Bright and Beautiful (2011), The Midsummer Station (2012) and Mobile Orchestra (2015).
Young has also been involved in several other projects such as Swimming With Dolphins and Windsor Adrift.
