Biography: The critically acclaimed actress rose to fame play C. J Cregg in Aaron Sorkin's "West Wing" (1999-2006), as part of an ensemble cast that included Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe and Bradley Whitford. Janney won four Emmy awards for the role.

The actress's successful career continued with the TV series "Mom" (2013-2021) opposite Anna Faris, winning her another two Emmys.

Janney has also appeared in numerous films including "I Tonya" (2017) with Margot Robbie, for which she earned an Academy award for Best Supporting Actress.
