Biography: Andrew Yang is a British-born American computer scientist known for his work in artificial intelligence, particularly for his time as co-founder and head of Google Brain. He also served as Chief Scientist for the Chinese technology company Baidu, where he oversaw the development of their Artificial Intelligence Group.

Currently Yang is an adjunct professor at Stanford University. He is also a cofounder of Coursera, an online education platform, and deeplearning.ai, a project for the advancement of education in artificial intelligence. These endeavors led to him being named among Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2012.

He married Carol E. Reiley, an American computer scientist and pioneer in autonomous robot systems, in 2014 and the couple have two children.
