Biography: Ben Roethlisberger is an American football player, best known for his 18 seasons as quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers (2004-2021). He was selected for the Steelers in 2004 and played with them until his retirement in 2021.
Roethlisberger was Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first year and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2007. When the Steelers won the Super Bowl in 2006, this made 23 year old Roethlisberger the youngest quarterback in NFL history to achieve this.
He held a number of records at this retirement, including 5th for all-time career passing yards and 8th for all-time touchdowns.
