Biography: Catriona Matthew is a Scottish professional golfer best known for winning the Women's British Open in 2009. She has had a number of other wins also, including four LPGA Tour wins and 6 in the Ladies European Tour.

As an amateur, Matthew was dominant in Scottish and British competitions. She was Scottish Girls champion in 1986 and Scottish Amateur in 1991, 1993, and 1994; as well as the British Amateur title in 1993.
