Biography: Chris DiMarco is an American golfer whose career highlights include three PGA Tour wins and several close finishes in major tournaments.

After turning professional in 1990, DiMarco faced early challenges before leading the Canadian Tour's Order of Merit in 1992 and securing his PGA Tour card in 1993. His first PGA Tour victory occurred at the 2000 SEI Pennsylvania Classic.

In the mid-2000s, DiMarco achieved significant success, including runner-up finishes at The Masters (2005) and The Open Championship (2006). He is known during this period of his career for his playoff against Tiger Woods at The Masters and interaction with a heckler at the 2002 Phoenix Open.

DiMarco made major contributions to team competitions, such as the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup, particularly with his crucial putt at the 2005 Presidents Cup. His career faced a setback in 2007, however, due to a chronic shoulder injury, which led to surgeries and changes in his playing schedule.

Beyond competitive golf, DiMarco has ventured into broadcasting, contributing to Golf Channel's Morning Drive, and competed in the PGA Tour Champions for senior golfers. His family life with his wife, Amy, and their three children, including his son Cristian DiMarco's emerging golfing career.

DiMarco organizes the Norma DiMarco Tee Up For Life Golf Tournament in memory of his mother, focusing on cancer charity work. His achievements were recognized with his induction into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.
