Biography: R&B singer-songwriter Ciara got her start as part of girl group Hearsay before going solo. She released her debut solo album "Goodies" in 2004 with the hit single of the same name. The album went on to be nominated for four Grammys.

Her follow-up album "Ciara the Evolution", like "Goodies before it, reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Ciara who is known for her up-front stage presence, including touring with Jay-Z in 2009 has continued to regularly release successful albums.

In 2016 Ciara married Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
