Biography: Cody Simpson is an Australian singer and swimmer. His musical career began with recording songs for YouTube in his bedroom. He came to international fame after releasing his debut single "iYiYi" in 2010, which featured Flo Rida.

He went on to release an EP title 4 U in 2010 and another titled Coast to Coast in 2011. This was followed by his debut studio album Paradise (2012), after which he also toured as a supporting performer with Justin Bieber and then released his second album, Surfer's Paradise, in 2013.

Simpson was an aspiring swimmer in his youth and returned to competitive swimming in 2019 when he joined the University of Southern California's swim team with coach Dave Salo. He later trained under Brett Hawke and ultimately qualified for the Australian Swimming Champions and Commonwealth Games in 2022.
