Biography: Colin Farrell is an Irish actor known for his versatile and compelling performances over two decades. Early roles in "Tigerland" (2000) and "Minority Report" (2002) were followed by films like "Daredevil" (2003) and "Alexander" (2004).

Acclaimed for "In Bruges" (2008), he continued to showcase his range in works such as "The Lobster" (2015) and "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" (2017). His portrayal in "The Banshees of Inisherin" (2022) garnered him a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination.

Farrell initially pursued acting after being inspired by "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982). Attending the Gaiety School of Acting, he left to join the cast of "Ballykissangel" (1998). His role in "The War Zone" (1999) marked his film debut.
