Erling set the record for the most goals scored by a player in a single Premier League season, with 36, in his first season (2022). In the same season, he also became the quickest player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks, doing so in 8 league games, shattering the previous record of 48 games, set in 1998 by Michael Owen of Liverpool.
