Biography: Jinnah was one of the leading founders of Pakistan and the younger sister of founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She is often referred to as the Mother of Pakistan, and after leaving work as a dentist, became a close advisor to her older brother as he became the first Governor-General of Pakistan.

After Pakistan became independent in 1947, she founded the Pakistan Women's Association. After her elder brother's death in 1948, she was heavily censored in Pakistan, only being allowed to address the nation in 1951. She increasingly came up against the ruling regime in Pakistan, and in 1960 became the first Leader of the Opposition, contesting but losing the 1965 presidential election to Ayub Khan. She died two years later, officially of a heart attack, although rumors persist that she was murdered by the regime.
