Biography: Felicity Huffman is an American actress best known for her roles in TV shows and films such as Desperate Housewives and Transamerica. In Desperate Housewives, she played Lynette Scavo, a role that won her an Emmy Award and earned her multiple nominations. In Transamerica, Huffman portrayed a transgender woman, a role that won her critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Huffman's career took a turn for the worst in 2019, however, when she was involved in the college admissions scandal. She was accused of paying $15,000 to have her daughter's SAT scores inflated. Huffman ultimately pled guilty and was sentenced to 14 days in prison, community service, and a fine.

She dated William H. Macy for fifteen years, and the two eventually married in 1997. The couple have two daughters together, one of whom was the cause for the above scandal. Huffman was accused of making a 'donation' that was really a payment for someone to impersonate her daughter so as to get a better grade on the SATs.
