Biography: Gunna is an American rapper who first came to fame with his 2018 mixtape, Drip Season 3. He followed this with a mixtape collaboration with Lil Baby, Drip Harder (2018), from which the single "Drip Too Hard" reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
These mixtapes were followed by debut studio album, Drip or Drown 2 (2019), and his second album, Wunna (2020). The latter debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. He followed this with a feature on the single "Lemonade" by Internet Money, which reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2022, Gunna was arrested in a RICO indictment alongside Young Thug. He made a plea deal and was released later that year, after which he released A Gift & a Curse (2023). This featured his first solo hit single, "FukUMean."
