Biography: Jessica Alba's break-out role was playing Max Guevara in James Cameron's sci-fi tv programme "Dark Angel". Before this Alba had been acting since her teens, her first role was in 1994's "Camp Nowhere".
After "Dark Angels", 2 year run ended in 2002, Alba moved into Hollywood appearing in such films as Sin City (2005), the Marvel movie "The Fantastic Four" (2005) and Valentine's Day (2010).
Alba is widely regarded for her beauty and has appeared on a number of Most Beautiful lists; she was voted FHM's Sexiest Women in 2008.
As a businesswoman Alba is the co-founder of The Honest Company, selling non-toxic household products. It was valued at $1.7 billion in August 2015.
