Biography: John C. Reilly is a frequently nominated actor who has worked with some of the best directors in Hollywood. He first appeared in Brian De Palma's "Casualties of War" (1989). Reilly has worked on three of Paul Thomas Anderson's films Hard Eight (1996), Boogie Nights (1997) and Magnolia (1999).
His best regarded roles include the musical "Chicago" (2002) playing Renée Zellweger's husband, for which is was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Oscar, and in Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator" (2004).
