Biography: Jonny Wilkinson is an English rugby union player who played for the Newcastle Falcons and Toulon. He also represented England with the national team, as well as playing for the British and Irish Lions.

Wilkinson was renowned as an essential member of the English team, particularly in the 2003 World Cup which England won. Wilkinson scored the final point with a drop goal against Australia in the last minute of extra time.

Wilkinson retired in 2014, and in 2016 was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame.
