She gained fame for her role as Elaine O'Connor Nardo in the popular television sitcom Taxi (1978-1983), which earned her five Golden Globe nominations. Henner has appeared in numerous other TV shows and films, including Evening Shade (1990-1994) and L.A. Story (1991).
