Biography: 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper was regarded as one of professional wrestling's most recognisable and influential stars.

He is best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) between 1984 and 2000.

Piper won 34 championships in his career, highlighted by the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship in 1992 and the World Tag Team Championship with Ric Flair in 2006 (his last title). Piper had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Flair in 2005.

He is famous for being part of many public feuds with wrestling personalities as well as "Piper's Pit" an innovative and often controversial interview segment on WWE.

Outside of wrestling, Piper acted in dozens of film and television productions as well as featuring as a voice actor, and in music videos.
