Biography: Scottie Pippen is regarded as one of the greatest small forwards in Basketball history.
Along with Michael Jordan, he played on six NBA Championship teams with the Chicago Bulls (1991–1993, 1996–1998) and was almost as pivotal in transforming the Bulls into a dominant team. The duo was integral in popularising the NBA around the world during the 1990s.
Even though he is sometimes seen as Jordan's lieutenant, Pippen was a 7-time NBA All-Star, 3-time All-NBA First Team and 8-time NBA All-Defensive First Team inductee, and he won the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1994.
He was also a member of the US Team that won gold medals at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games and he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
Pippen also played for the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers, but his career peak was with the Bulls.
