Biography: Aaron Rodgers is an American football quarterback currently playing for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). Rodgers distinguished himself early in his career, setting several college records with the California Golden Bears. His professional journey commenced when the Green Bay Packers picked him in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, setting the stage for a career including a Super Bowl victory and multiple MVP awards.

After attending Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, where he broke numerous school records, Rodgers' collegiate career began at Butte Community College. Subsequently, his play earned him a transfer to the University of California, Berkeley.

At Berkeley he continued to impress, setting several school records and leading the team to a top-five national ranking. Despite a stellar college performance, Rodgers was not selected until the 24th pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, joining the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers spent three years as Brett Favre's understudy at Green Bay before securing the starting quarterback slot in 2008. His tenure with the Packers saw him lead the team to numerous playoff berths and a win in Super Bowl XLV, where he was named Super Bowl MVP.

He earned league MVP honors for his outstanding play in the 2011, 2014, 2020, and 2021 seasons. Rodgers' precision and efficiency set him apart, establishing records like the highest career passer rating and an impressive touchdown-to-interception ratio.

Off the field, Rodgers acquired a minority stake in the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. His on-field success brought him several endorsements and commercial opportunities, in which he often engaged in community and charitable efforts. Among these was the creation of itsAaron as well as contributions to the MACC Fund and local causes.

The onset of 2023 marked a significant change for Rodgers as he was traded to the New York Jets. Drawing parallels to the earlier career move of Favre, Rodgers chose the Jets' No. 8 jersey, reminiscent of his college days. An Achilles tendon injury marred his season debut, however, effectively ending his playtime for the year.

Rodgers' legacy extends to his influence within popular culture, including victories on Celebrity Jeopardy! and a stint as a guest host on the show.
