Biography: Brett Favre is an American professional football quarterback. He is best known for his 20-year stint in the National Football League (NFL), where he accomplished a record-breaking streak of 321 consecutive starts.

Favre was the first quarterback to achieve numerous milestones including 70,000 passing yards and 500 touchdowns. He led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl XXXI victory and was honored with a Pro Football Hall of Fame induction in 2016.

Favre rose from Hancock North Central High School, where his father was his coach, to star at the University of Southern Mississippi. He overcame a severe car accident to lead Southern Mississippi to an upset victory against Alabama, showcasing his resilience early on.

Drafted in 1991 by the Atlanta Falcons, Favre's career took off after his trade to the Green Bay Packers. In Green Bay, he revitalized the team, earning three MVP titles and 11 Pro Bowl selections. He later played for the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings, leading the latter to the NFC Championship Game in the 2009 season.

Favre's challenges were not limited to the gridiron; he battled personal issues, including Vicodin addiction and family losses. He faced the Mississippi welfare funds scandal accusations in 2022. Married to Deanna Tynes in 1996, Favre is a father and grandfather.
