Biography: Agnetha is most widely known as member of internationally successful Swedish pop band ABBA (she's the blonde one!).

Prior to joining the quartet, she had a solo career as a singer songwriter in Sweden. In 1971, she married singer-songwriter Björn Ulvaeus, and soon after formed ABBA. The marriage ended in 1979, and the group wnet on hiatus in 1982.

Agnetha resumed her solo career, and branched out into film, starring in the Swedish comedy "Raskenstam" in 1983. Through the 80's she released recordings which sold well, and had hits in Sweden and northern Europe. Throughout the 90's and until 2004, she withdrew from public life, concentrating on personal issues, including the deaths of her parents, and some difficult marriages.

Starting in 2004, she returned to the recording studio creating well-regarding albums, and making appearances to accept awards with her former group, and to promote the "Mamma Mia!" films.

n 2021, the ABBA group re-united to release the album "Voyage" and then had a specially built arena made in London for a virtual concert residency, using digital avatars of the singers and a live band, beginning in the Spring of 2022.
