Biography: Albert Belle was an American baseball outfield that played for the Cleveland Indians (1989-1996), Chicago White Sox (1997-1998), and Baltimore Orioles (1999-2000). He was an All-Star five times, and was the only player to hit 50 doubles and 50 home runs in a single season.

Belle gained infamy in 1994 during a match against the Chicago White Sox. Gene Lamont, manager of the White Sox, challenged Belle's bat upon hearing rumours that it was corked. The Indians, knowing this to be the case, sent one of their players to crawl through the ceiling and swap the bat with one which was not corked before it could be properly inspected.
