Biography:Amélie Mauresmo is a French tennis player, best known for having reached world number one ranking. She has won two major titles, winning the women's singles in 2006 at both the Australian Open and at Wimbledon.
Mauresmo, who also won a silver medal in singles at the 2004 Summer Olympics, was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2015.
