Biography: Andrew Lloyd Webber is an English composer best known for his involvement in musical theatre, with several productions seeing major long-term success in the West End and on Broadway. Some of his musical compositions have also been successful outside of the musical in which they initially featured.

Webber's notable works include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1968), Jesus Christ Superstar (1970), Cats (1981), The Phantom of the Opera (1986), and School of Rock (2015).

He has received a knighthood for this work, as well as six Tony Awards and three Grammy Awards.
