Biography:Considered one of the greatest players in the history of golf, Palmer was one of the Big Three - along with Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player - who greatly popularized golf in the 1950s and 60s.
In his career he won 62 PGA Tours and was one of the original 13 inductees to the World Golf Hall of Fame.
