Biography: Benny Blanco has shaped modern pop music through his writing and production collaborations with major artists such as Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and more.

Blanco began making hip-hop beats in his bedroom as a child. He later secured an apprenticeship with producer Disco D in New York City. This experience led to mentorship under Dr. Luke, who signed Blanco to his production company.

His career took off as he co-wrote and co-produced songs for major artists. He worked on Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (2010) and Kesha's "TiK ToK" (2009), among many others.

In 2018, Blanco released his first single as a lead artist, "Eastside," featuring Halsey and Khalid. He followed this with his debut album, "Friends Keep Secrets" (2018).

Blanco has subsequently expanded his career beyond music production. He founded two record labels, Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets.
