Biography: Blake Edwards was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was known for his work in comedy films, including the Pink Panther series, Breakfast at Tiffany's, 10, and Victor/Victoria.

Edwards began his career as a radio writer and actor before moving to the motion picture industry. He wrote, directed, and produced some of the most beloved comedy films of the 1960s and 70s. He also wrote and directed several popular television series, such as Peter Gunn and Mr. Lucky.

Edwards directed his last film, The Man Who Loved Women, in 1983. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003 and received an Honorary Academy Award in 2004.
