Biography: Bobby Cannavale is an American actor who is perhaps best known for his role as Joe Oramas in Will & Grace from 2004 and 2006. For this part alongside Eric McCormack and Debra Messing, in 2005 he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

Cannavale won a further Emmy, this time for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, for his role as Gyp Rosetti in Boardwalk Empire (2013). He has also played notable roles in Mr. Robot and Master of None, as well as delivering noteworthy performances in films such as The Station Agent (2003) and Blue Jasmine (2013).

While Cannavale's breakthrough came on screen with the series Third Watch, he has also played a number of roles on stage. His Broadway debut was in 2008 with Mauritius, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor. He has since played other roles such as in The Motherfucker with the Hat, for which he was also nominated for a Tony Award.
