Biography: Doris Hart was an American tennis player best known for being world number one in 1951, and for winning a Career Grand Slam in singles: Australian Open (1949), French Open (1950, 1952), Wimbledon (1951), US Open (1954, 1955).

Hart also achieved was known as the "Boxed Set" of Grand Slam titles, which meant that she had won a title in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles at all four of the Grand Slam events. She was the first of three players to achieve this feat.
