Biography: Elizabeth Banks has appeared in wide range of films including "Seabiscuit" (2003) Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007) and "The Lego Movie" (2014). Her role in "The Hunger Games" (2012-15) trilogy is perhaps her most well known.

In 2014 Banks made her directorial debut with "Pitch Perfect 2", in which she also starred. It earned $69 million in its opening weekend, a record for a first time director.
