Biography: Josh Hutcherson is an American actor. His career spans from early childhood roles to the international recognition as Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games film series (2012-2015). Hutcherson has also been involved in independent cinema and production while actively supporting the LGBT community and engaging in political activism.
Beginning acting at the age of eight, Josh Hutcherson moved to Los Angeles with his mother to pursue his career. His early work consisted of commercials and minor television roles. His breakthrough came with family films such as Little Manhattan (2005), Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005), Bridge to Terabithia (2007), and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), winning him Young Artist Awards.
