Biography: Jamie Lynn Spears is an American actress and singer. She is best known for playing Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon sitcom "Zoey 101" (2005-2008) and its 2023 sequel film "Zoey 102."

Spears began her acting career at age 10 with a cameo in Crossroads (2002), starring her sister Britney Spears. She was a regular cast member on Nickelodeon's "All That" from 2002-2004 before landing the lead role on "Zoey 101" at age 13.

In 2007, at age 16, Spears announced her pregnancy, generating significant controversy and media attention. After giving birth in 2008, she took a 5-year hiatus from acting to focus on raising her daughter Maddie as a single mom.
