Biography: Javed Miandad is a Pakistani cricketer and coach, regarded as one of the finest batsmen in the history of cricket. He is renowned for his unconventional style both in terms of play and leadership, having also served as captain of the Pakistan team.

Since his playing career, Miandad has served several times as coach of the Pakistan national team as well as serving on the Pakistan Cricket Board. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009.
