Biography: One half of the successful British ice dancing pair along with Christopher Dean, who brought a new level of popularity to their sport after their innovative routines and gold winning performance at the 1984 Winter Olympics at Sarajevo.
They are particularly remembered for their free program routine when they performed to the music of Maurice Ravel's Boléro.
After the Olympics the pair turned profession, but were allowed to compete, under new rules, at the 1994 Winter Olympics where they won the bronze medal.
