Brown first came to fame with his homemade videos on Facebook, in which he performed covers of songs by names such as Brantley Gilbert, Billy Currington, and Alan Jackson. He then transitioned into reducing studio albums after a Kickstarted provided the funding for his first EP, titled Closer (2015).
