Biography: Laurence Fishburne is best known for his roles as Morpheus in "the Matrix trilogy" with Keanu Reeves and as Tyrone Miller in Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now" (1979).

He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ike Turner in "What's Love Got To Do With It" (1993).
From 2008 to 2011 he played Dr. Raymond Langston in television's "CSI" and more recently appeared as Perry Steel in "Man of Steel" (2013) and "Batman vs. Superman" (2016).
