Biography: Marisa Tomei is an Academy Award-winning American actress. She is best known for her roles in the films "My Cousin Vinny" (1992), "In The Bedroom" (2001) and "The Wrestler" (2008). She has also appeared in television shows such as "A Different World" (1988-93) and "Rescue Me" (2004-11).

Tomei began her career in the early 1980s, appearing in television series including "As the World Turns" and "A Different World". Her breakthrough role came in 1992, when she starred in the comedy "My Cousin Vinny", for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Tomei has gone on to star in a number of successful films, including "Slums of Beverly Hills" (1998), "What Women Want" (2000), "In The Bedroom" (2001) and "Crazy, Stupid, Love" (2011).
