Biography: The English actress first earned critical acclaim playing the doomed Anne Boleyn in the mini series "Wolf" Hall", and was nominated for a BAFTA for the part.

Foy then came to international attention for her starring role in the drama series "The Crown" playing a young Queen Elizabeth II opposite Matt Smith's Duke of Edinburgh. She won two Emmys, a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild awards for the role.

More recently she has taken roles in films including "First Man" about Neil Armstrong, and the Canadian film "Women Talking", directed by Sarah Polley.
