Biography:The Australian actress rose to fame after she was cast as the lead in Tim Button's film "Alice in Wonderland" (2010). She later revisited the role, starring in its follow-up "Alice Through the Looking Glass" (2016).
Favouring independent films and productions, Wasikowska has gone on to appear in such films as Cary Fukunaga's film version of "Jane Eyre" (2011) opposite Michael Fassbender. She has also appeared in the Jim Jarmusch film "Only Lovers Left Alive" (2013) and in Guillermo del Toro's gothic film "Crimson Peak" (2015) alongside Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain.
