Biography: Michael Cera is a Canadian actor and musician best known for his charmingly awkward characters in films such as "Superbad" (2007), "Juno" (2007), and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (2010).

Cera began acting at a young age, appearing in Canadian TV shows and films like "I Was a Sixth Grade Alien" (1999) and "Frequency" (2000). His breakthrough role came as George Michael Bluth in the TV series "Arrested Development" (2003-2006, 2013, 2018-2019).

Following his success on "Arrested Development," Cera starred in "Superbad" and "Juno" in 2007. He then went on to appear in several further major films including "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" (2008), "Youth in Revolt" (2009), and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (2010). Most recently, he starred alongside Margot Robbie in Barbie (2023).

In addition to his film work, Cera has earned critical acclaim for his stage performances. He has so far appeared in several plays by Kenneth Lonergan, including "This Is Our Youth" (2014), "Lobby Hero" (2018), and "The Waverly Gallery" (2019).

Beyond acting, Cera has also dabbled in music and released his debut album, "True That," in 2014.
