Biography: P. G. Wodehouse is a British comic writer, known for his humorous works of fiction. He was born in Guildford, Surrey, England in 1881, and died in 1975. He was educated at Dulwich College, and worked as a journalist, writing short stories and plays while also working in Hollywood.

Wodehouse is best known for his humorous novels set in the world of British upper-class society, featuring characters such as Jeeves, Bertie Wooster, and the aristocratic Lord Emsworth. He was also a successful playwright, and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1975.

Wodehouse wrote over 90 books over the course of his lifetime, and is widely considered one of the greatest comic writers of all time. His works have been translated into more than 35 languages, and have been adapted for film, television and radio.
