Biography: Randy Travis has recorded twenty studio albums and placed more than forty singles on the Billboard country music charts, including nineteen Number One hits. His songs include the hits "Forever and Ever, Amen," "I Told You So," "Diggin' Up Bones," and "Three Wooden Crosses".

Travis began his musical career in the late 1970s, singing and playing guitar in a country band called Flash. In 1984, he was signed to Warner Bros. Records, where he began recording his debut album, Storms of Life. The album was released the following year and was a commercial success, selling more than four million copies. It was certified platinum and produced four number one singles on the Billboard country music charts.

Travis's success continued with the release of his second album, Always & Forever. The album's first single, "On the Other Hand," was a number one hit on the country charts. Travis's third album, High Lonesome, was released in 1991. The album's first single, "Point of Light," was a number one hit on the country charts.

Travis has since released several more albums, including Wind in the Wire (1993), Full Circle (1996), and Inspirational Journey (2000). He has also appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Andy Griffith Show, Touched by an Angel, and 7th Heaven.
