Biography: Known best for his collaborations with composer Jerry Bock, including the Tony Award-winning "Fiorello!" (1959), which also won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and "Fiddler on the Roof" (1964), Sheldon Harnick worked on Broadway for over 60 years. He contributed to over two dozen productions between 1952 and 2016.

In 1972, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame
