Biography:Born in South Africa, Noah took over Jon Stewart as host of American cable TV's late-night talk and satirical news program "The Daily Show" in 2015, after serving as a correspondent for the program the year before. Prior to this he had a comedy career that gained traction on late-night talk shows and hosted "Tonight with Trevor Noah" on M-Net and DStv in South Africa.
He published his autobiography Born a Crime in 2016 to acclaim. He left "The Daily Show" at the end of 2022 to pursue other ventures.
