Biography: Wes Bentley is an American actor best known for his roles in American Beauty (1999) and The Hunger Games (2012). He gained early acclaim for his performance in American Beauty which led to a BAFTA Award nomination but struggled with substance abuse, causing a temporary decline in his career.

Bentley's acting career began after he left the Juilliard School to pursue acting professionally. His breakthrough came in 1999 with the film American Beauty. He then appeared in several films, including The Four Feathers (2002) and Ghost Rider (2007), before portraying Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games (2012). His stage career peaked with the off-Broadway play Venus in Fur in 2010.

Bentley's television career began in earnest when he joined the cast of American Horror Story in 2014, thereafter appearing in several seasons. He currently plays Jamie Dutton in the television series Yellowstone (2018-present).

Bentley was married to Jennifer Quanz from 2001 to 2009. He then married producer Jacqui Swedberg in 2010, with whom he has two children.
