The print was produced by George Koehler, an Aid de Camp to Gibraltar Governor and commanding General George Eliott.

It shows a panorama of the Allied naval attack on fortified Gibraltar by French and Spanish warships, showing 1 ship exploding, small figures of infantry and artillery on land in right foreground.
