Biography: Alyson Hannigan is an American actress best known for her roles as Willow Rosenberg in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003) and Lily Aldrin in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014). She has also starred in the American Pie film series, portraying Michelle Flaherty in four installments between 1999 and 2012.

In addition to her acting career, Hannigan has been hosting the television show Penn & Teller: Fool Us since 2016, a magic competition where performers attempt to fool the famous magician duo. She has also lent her voice to the character of Claire Clancy in the Disney Junior animated series Fancy Nancy (2018–2022).

She has been married to Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Alexis Denisof in 2003, and the couple have two daughters together.
