Biography: Cobie Smulders is a Canadian actress who gained fame for her role as Robin Scherbatsky on the popular television series How I Met Your Mother, which aired from 2005 to 2014. She has also made a name for herself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portraying Maria Hill in films such as The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

In addition to her success in television and film, Smulders has ventured onto the stage, making her Broadway debut in the 2017 production of Present Laughter. She continued her work in television, starring as the lead character Dex Parios in the series Stumptown, which aired from 2019 to 2020. In her personal life, Smulders is married to fellow actor Taran Killam, and they have two children together.
